From Vendor to Educator
My background starts at Curtin University in Western Australia, where I studied Health Promotion. That training gave me the foundation in human biology and behavioural psychology I still apply when evaluating pharmacological claims.
After that, I founded and operated AfinilExpress.org (2013 to 2019), one of the early modafinil vendors. Running a vendor taught me the mechanics most review sites never see: how supply chains from Indian manufacturers actually work, which shipping routes get flagged, and what separates a vendor that delivers consistently from one that's about to collapse.

Why I Built BuyModa.net
Vendors come and go, sites get seized, and quality fluctuates wildly. I built BuyModa.net because I was tired of the whack-a-mole game and wanted a single reliable hub that tested the people who sell, rather than selling itself.
Vendor recommendations are not permanent. When a vendor fails a quarterly audit, drops its reship policy, or closes, it comes off the list. The market shifts constantly. This site shifts with it.
How does Shane test vendors?
BuyModa.net is not a store. I place quarterly mystery-shop orders from every recommended vendor across different products, shipping methods, and payment options. Here's what I measure:

Domain History & Affiliation
I want to be transparent about this site's origin, because confusion around the BuyModa name has caused problems for customers.
I was an affiliate of buymoda.org, a modafinil vendor operated by a different team. I registered the .net domain to promote their store and earn referral commissions. At some point buymoda.org was sold to unknown parties and is no longer in operation. I retained buymoda.net and rebuilt it as the independent review resource it is today.
I considered rebranding under a different name to avoid the confusion, but after running this site since 2014 and building its reputation over a decade, starting from zero didn't make practical sense.
Is BuyModa.net a pharmacy or vendor?
No. BuyModa.net does not stock, ship, or process payments for modafinil or any other product. I test and evaluate vendors, publish my findings, and earn commissions when readers purchase through my links.
